It is no secret how much we love Bar Mattino - it is our favourite cafe, hands down.

Regulars for breakfast, we have only popped in for the Sunday Roast on a couple of occasions.
Recently we stopped by for the Roast Lamb & the Roast Chicken (both massive and equally spectacular) - but today we are here for the king of roasts, that's right The Mighty Roast Beef!

Piled high with roast potato, piping hot luscious pumpkin mash, the most divine pickled cabbage, vegies, an impressive yorkie plump full of gravy and a mound of perfectly cooked (medium rareish), tender & moist beef - this is what a Sunday roast is all about - enough said!

As massive as the roast is, we can always manage to squeeze in dessert (admittedly this time we did have to share). The bread and butter pudding is another winner - this buttery, chocolaty extravaganza with its rich, creamy vanilla custard really hits the spot on a coolish Sunday afternoon.

Bar Mattino is now licensed, so you can enjoy glass of wine (or beer) along with your meal.

Service as always is welcoming - Sigrid & Sebastian make their guests feel right at home.

We are, and always will be, unashamed fans.
